Mod v0.1 by Pinocchio's captcha doesn't work, shows always the same code. I appregiate personal efforts generally. But who is Pinoccio anyway? No e-mail, no author link to send feedback to? regards manu

Hi, the captcha works. As described, I only changed the style - picture. You should read Qualifire's page first… http://www.qualifire.de/cmsimple/en/?GBook
guote: “The captcha of GBook is changed only once a per day. It contains the IP address send by the browser. Is there a proxy between the webserver and the browser mostly the address of the proxy will be sent. Therefore if you test GBook from several machines using the same proxy you will get at the same day the same captcha. BUT: This has no influence on the effectivity of the captcha…”
I won't provide a feedback email so far 'cause posting here is completely sufficient. All my changes regarding user interface and settings are also updated in the English help file. Moreover there is a file with comprehensive realease notes.

Thanks for your work, Pinocchio. For me as a user it would be nice to know what work is to do to run the plugin in a proper way. - language file is incomplete - your mods are missing in the help file Yes, this is all written in your readme.txt files. But just to measure the effort I have to do, it would be nice to know it in advance. best regards manu

It works fine as it is. If you don't like it, don't use it… You know this all is freeware with no warranty, right?
There is nothing incomplete. I just happen not to speak all languages so I just used English instead of those I don't speak. Now you agree that everything is written in the readme file, but what? L O L, and how would you expect the info to be provided? Like emailed to you on demand with detailed installation steps? Oh, come on… give me a break. It's all there, read on. Sorry

Hi Pinoccio,

I found an issue regarding the plugin, which I would rather discuss in private, but I wasn't able to find another way to contact you. If you like you can mail me to <EDIT>mail address deleted to avoid SPAM</EDIT>.

Best Regards, Christoph

Hi, what kind of issues do you have with the plugin? I've also sent you an email…

Thanks for the quick reply. I've already answered the mail.

Pinoccio, 2012/02/22 11:36

Issue (within original plugin) resolved in Mod v0.3

I received some more reported bugs, mostly concerning the encoding and problems with html-entities after the latest fix… I'm going to check all of them and post an update as soon as I'll have some free time. Till then, I suggest not using my latest quick fix in systems witch use often non-ASCII characters. Thanks

The bugs have been fixed :) Please use v0.3a instead of v0.3, thanks for patience.

Damn utf+html emails… :P
Nothing critical though. There are still some issues with entities and encoding in notification emails, but it's becoming too many releases and fixes. So I will not post new versions over and over. I will leave just the latest and stable one here, and create a subpage with history and betas. Stay tuned ;) and consider v0.2 as stable (but with injection risk) and v0.3a as beta.

Ok, I've released a new stable version - v0.4, all known problems should be solved. Everything was moved to the subpage, all info and discussion concerning the mod continue there… Thanks
